I got into entertaining on a regular basis in fall, 1999 when my friends and I found it was hard to synch up our schedules to get together. We settled on one regular night a week to meet up just for the sake of meeting up.
I have always loved creating and making aesthetically pleasing things, and entertaining is a perfect outlet for showing my creativity.

Free time is often spent poring through flea markets, thrift stores, and craft shops for inspiration. I absolutely love making something new of something old. My parents truly blessed me with their organizational and creative skills, which brings in my resourcefulness and love for making things. I am also known for being a ham, so playing hostess seems to come naturally. A little innovation goes a long way, and it does not take much to make for good entertaining.

With the advent of internet technology, planning for enjoyable socializing is easier than ever. I usually spend an average of 20 hours online a week, but it only takes 5-10 minutes to get something together.

A liberal arts (American Studies/Computer Applications) graduate from the University of Notre Dame, I try to carry the well-rounded approach into post-grad life too. I am a quality assurance analyst by day but I am also a little hostess who strives for the mostest by night (and weekends). I believe it is easy to tie a social cord onto normal, everyday events to get back nice returns (good friends, good fun, who needs more than that?).
